BACTERIA
what is BACTERIA?
Comparatively speaking, there are only a handful of “bad” bacteria out there. Of the total bacteria in our bodies, a healthy balance is 85% good bacteria and 15% bad bacteria.
Most types of bacteria are harmless and even help keep your digestive tract healthy. But some strains can cause diarrhea if you ingest contaminated food or water.
Fore example, some versions of E. coli make you sick by making a toxin called Shiga. This toxin damages the lining of your intestine.
HEALTH CONCERNS

Sewage leaks
Raw sewage leaving a residence typically consists of everything that that goes down all the drains in a home, toilet water included. With Sewage leaks the problems are two-fold. The water damage is an issue but the bacteria that flows with it can cause serious health concerns. Without proper precautions it can cause a variety of health issues. Root intrusion into sewer pipe is reported to cause 50% of all sewer blockages, and if not addressed can cause backup into the septic pipe.
